Privacy Policy
Effective October 9, 2026. This policy explains what personal information Hols & Co LLC ("Hols & Co", "we") collects when you use holsco.com, call or text us, or ask us for an estimate; how we use it; who we share it with; how long we keep it; and the choices you have. Hols & Co is a residential and agricultural general contractor based in Harrisburg, South Dakota.
Information we collect
What you give us. When you submit the estimate form, book a walkthrough, call, text or email us, we collect what you provide: your name, phone number, email address, the property address for the estimate, and your description of the project. If you tick the texting box on our form, we record that consent and when you gave it.
Calls and the phone assistant. Calls to our business numbers are tracked and may be recorded, as the greeting states. An automated phone agent answers our scheduling line at any hour, and our main number outside office hours; it takes your details and offers walkthrough times, and a transcript of that conversation is kept with your request so Jace can call you back.
Collected automatically. Our site uses standard analytics and advertising measurement that record pages viewed, the search or ad that brought you here, your browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and cookie identifiers. If you arrived from an ad, a cookie remembers which one for up to 90 days so we can credit it if you reach out later. You can browse the whole site without submitting anything.
How we use it
To respond to your request, schedule and confirm an in-person estimate walkthrough, deliver a written estimate, follow up on it, and carry out any work you hire us for. To measure our own advertising, so we know which ad or search led to a request. To keep our records, meet legal and tax obligations, and protect against fraud and abuse. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to build marketing lists.
Text messages
If you tick the texting box on our form, or text our business number, we may text you about your project: confirming we received your request, scheduling or confirming a walkthrough, and following up on an estimate. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of purchase. Your mobile number and your opt-in consent are never sold, and never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We do not send marketing texts. Who we share it with
We never sell your information, and we never share it for anyone else's marketing: no data brokers, no lead lists, no other contractors. We share it only with the service providers that run our business for us, who may use it solely to provide their service to us: web hosting and our request records (Amazon Web Services); call tracking and recording (CallRail); text messaging (Twilio); the after-hours phone assistant (ElevenLabs); appointment booking (Cal.com); estimates and invoicing (Jobber); our internal notification tools; and advertising measurement, where a hashed (scrambled) version of your contact details may be sent to Google or Meta only to confirm which ad led to your request. We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights and safety.
How long we keep it
Estimate requests and the related messages, call records and transcripts are kept while we may do work for you and for up to three years after our last contact, then deleted. Records of work we perform, estimates and invoices are kept as long as South Dakota law and our tax obligations require. Advertising cookies expire within 90 days; analytics data is retained under Google's and Meta's standard settings.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta measurement tags, served through our own domain, and CallRail's call-tracking script, which shows a tracking phone number on the site. The Better Business Bureau seal on our pages is an image served by BBB, so your browser requests it from BBB's servers; it sets no cookie of ours. You can block or clear cookies in your browser; the site still works. We do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no agreed standard for them.
Your choices
Texts: reply STOP to any message. Email: use the unsubscribe link in any email we send. Access, correction or deletion:call or text (605) 679-5223, or email alex@holsco.com, and we will show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it, except what we must keep by law. We will confirm your identity first. We respond within 30 days.
Children
Our services are for homeowners and property owners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we delete it if we learn we have.
Security
Requests are stored in encrypted systems in the United States with access limited to the people who need it to do your job. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information we will tell you as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the effective date at the top. Material changes to how we use information you already gave us will be explained here before they take effect.
