Hols & Co is a TimberTech PRO Gold contractor. What the program is, what the Gold tier means, and the full terms of TimberTech's labor warranty are on that page; this one is about the decks.
What it is: a deck built in TimberTech by Hols & Co is backed by TimberTech's Limited Replacement Labor Warranty, so a defect claim on the boards gets the labor to replace them covered as well, for up to twelve years. What it isn't: an exclusive. Wood decks are still core work here, and we'll price Trex or another line if that's what you want. Jace walks the site, talks through both, and puts the scope in a written estimate. Call or text (605) 679-5223.

The product warranties behind the boards
The labor warranty follows the product warranty, so the board you choose decides both. TimberTech Advanced PVC decking carries a Lifetime Limited Warranty for residential use, and a Fade and Stain Limited Warranty of fifty years on the Vintage, Landmark, Harvest, and Harvest+ collections, thirty-five on Solstice. TimberTech Composite carries thirty years on Legacy, Reserve, and Terrain and twenty-five on Prime, Prime+, and Premier, prorated after the early years, with fade and stain coverage to match. TimberTech PVC and composite railing carries twenty-five years. The seals below are TimberTech's own and the terms are TimberTech's to honor; read the published warranty for the exact collection before you buy, and we'll hand you the document with the estimate.
None of this changes the part that matters most in South Dakota. A composite deck is only as good as the frame under it, and the footings, beams, ledger, and joist spacing get decided before anyone picks a color. TimberTech publishes a span table for every board, and we build to the table for the board you actually bought.
Beyond the deck: cladding and trim
The same program covers TimberTech Cladding and AZEK Exteriors trim and siding. TimberTech Advanced PVC Cladding carries a Lifetime Limited Residential Warranty and a 30 Year Commercial Limited Warranty, with fifty-year fade and stain coverage. AZEK trim and moulding carries a Lifetime Limited Warranty. If a siding or trim job is on your list, both are available through Hols & Co under the same estimate as the deck.

Twenty-four reviews. Every one of them five stars.
Highly recommend Hols & Co. if you are looking for someone to build your deck. The whole team was excellent to work with. They were professional, respectful and communicative. They were very efficient when they were on site and kept out property clean while they worked. Solid craftmanship and the finished product is exactly what we were envisioning. We would definitely hire this crew again for future projects.
Carrie Janssen C. · July 2026 · Deck build Our new cedar deck, built by Hols and Co, is fantastic! We were consistently impressed by their professionalism and great communication from start to finish. They listened to our needs, offered helpful suggestions, and kept us updated regularly. The quality of the construction is excellent. We highly recommend them to anyone wanting a beautiful, well-built deck.
Leonard · August 2025 · Cedar deck The team was great. The quality of work is fantastic. I saw their ad on social media and took a chance and contacted them. So glad I did! Wanted my back deck replaced and they did a beautiful job. Even worked Saturday because the wood for the deck didn't show up on time. Looking forward to having them back for my next project!

Fair questions, straight answers.
Can I still get a wood deck, or a different composite brand?
Yes. Wood is still core work here, and the frame under a wood deck gets the same footings below the frost line and the same flashing at the ledger. We'll also price Trex or another capped composite line if you ask, built to that manufacturer's published span, gap, and fastening requirements. The TimberTech labor warranty only applies to TimberTech, so the comparison is honest: one line comes with TimberTech's labor coverage, the others don't.
